An exclusive peek at Canada Blooms the Flower & Garden Festival

I know spring and Canada Blooms are coming soon when I check in at one of the many greenhouses across Ontario where plants are getting ready for their big debut.

As you read this, over 300 large trees and shrubs, more than 600 pots of perennials, 500 evergreens, and thousands of bulbs and flowers are coming along beautifully. All these vibrant plants have been ‘tricked’ into growth early this spring, so they will be in full bloom and leaf, just in time for Canada Blooms, March 17-21 at the Direct Energy Centre, Exhibition Place, Toronto.

At the Enbridge Garden Solutions Speaker Series, you'll find everything from tips on Incredible Edibles to advice on creating Woodland Wildflower Gardens. These informative and fun presentations are presented by some of Canada's premier gardening experts, including Mark Cullen, Sonia Day, Christina Sharma, Miriam Goldberger and many others. Buy your tickets online before the show and save $2 off regular admission. Adults tickets are only $16 ($18 at the event) and Seniors and Students only $14 ($16 at the event). As always, children 12 and under are free of charge!
