Adjacent toour festival will be the National Home Show, which will make us the largest combined home and garden event in the country.
Canada Blooms' theme this year is "CityCulture" and the Garden Hall committee has come up iwth many innovative ideas to celebrate "horticulture" and "garden culture" in our multi-cultural city. Changes for 2012 are highlighted below.
  • Canada Blooms 2012 is a 10 day festival: Friday March 16- Sunday March 25
  • The theme is City Culture
  • The schedule is organized as two '5-day' shows with the exception that some
exhibits will remain in for 10 days.
  • The international competitiors will compete in the first 5 days and be replaced
by large designs in the second 5 days.
  • Two new sections have been introduced this year: Photography and Youth
  • The festival remains open one hour later this year (10am- 9pm Mon-Sat) with the
    exception of Sundays (March 18: 10am-6pm, March 25: 10am-5pm)
